Cup-Holster started simply... With a spill!
At the time I lived in a tiny dorm room where my computer and study space were literally under where I slept. Desk space was tight and drinks were easily tipped over.
I created the first prototype of Cup-Holster in that same dorm room using hot glue and some parts from the hardware store.
After a while, It became clear that the Cup-Holster was something that was a daily essential.
So we started designing it for real.
We wanted to keep Cup-Holster Local, so we went to where I grew up,
Richland, Washington
Our first location was my living room, as sales grew my living room shrunk.
I lived on the 3rd floor, and no, there wasn't an elevator...
Our first custom order was for the New York Times. Packaged as gifts for their staff for Christmas.
Today, more than 100,000 Cup-Holsters have been sold, protecting desks like yours.
